01 / THE STARTING POINT
A connection problem rarely has one obvious answer.
Intermittent packet loss and a dropping VPN were the starting point. Investigating the problem meant moving between separate tools for Wi-Fi, DNS, packet loss and network discovery. The useful evidence was scattered across different places.
I built Infracheck to bring those checks into a more coherent workflow. Start with the device experiencing the problem, then add longer-term visibility when the situation calls for it.
Start at the device
Run diagnostics from the Android phone or Windows PC where the problem is visible.
Add context over time
Use the optional local appliance for continuous telemetry, alerts and network history.
Make evidence useful
Bring findings into reports that help explain the problem to another person.
02 / PRODUCT STRUCTURE
One problem space. Three complementary tools.
01
InfraZoom / Android
Wi-Fi signal and roaming, DNS and HTTP checks, LAN discovery, history and reports.
02
Infracheck / Windows
PC-side connectivity, Wi-Fi and Ethernet, routes, VPN context and network diagnostic tools.
03
Local appliance
A Docker-based monitor for ongoing network telemetry, inventory, alerts and reporting.
03 / INSIDE THE INTERFACE
From a technical signal to an understandable next step.
A useful diagnostic interface needs to preserve technical detail while helping someone see where to look next. The product brings device-level checks and site-level evidence into the same investigation, with an optional appliance instead of a mandatory deployment.
